Making the values/readings public
I would add a checkbox to the individual profile that allows to publish the meter readings and make them publicly readable. People then can borwse /search them by postcode. This has the advantage that it is eassier to find comparable properties or configurations (such as 'has aquarium' :D) ... . I know that at first this sounds un-doable in terms of privacy, but for example the Omnic website http://www.omnikportal.com/Terminal/TerminalDefault.aspx?come=Public has such a feature.

We decided not to build such a function some time ago. You have to understand we have a lot of “low-tech” users as well (which is very positive of course) who really won’t understand how it will work.
If we would put such a function “public” they will think automatically their data will be public as well, no matter how good we will try to explain it.
We get support request now and then from users who are very happy they are behind a login screen.
Also because of security reasons this isn’t a function we would like to introduce.
We are however thinking about a function where you can compare yourself with friends and family (behind the login screen :) ).
